This elegant dining chair has a tall back as its defining characteristic, giving it a formal presence around a table. Walnut is shaped into delicately tapering rear legs and a curving backrest that provide comfort while enjoying a leisurely meal. The seat floats off the frame to give the chair a sense of lightness and poise. Mortise and tenon joinery is employed throughout the frame with exposed tenons on the front and back of the frame revealing a subtle detail of the craft invested in the chair.
